I was so wrong. I have no idea of time but it feels like it’s been a day since I woke up again and I'm still here. Chained and blindfolded. I can only hear my own breathing right now. I haven't heard of any other movements in this room, words are far from it.

After shouting till my throat gave out, I'm acting calm. Keyword: Acting. Because all I can think now is quick death is the best option in this situation. I can't go through anything else. I won't be able to survive it again.

"Hello?" I mutter.

I know whoever kidnapped me wants to break me. Silence makes you think and I hate to think. I'm not very fond of my memories.

I wait. And wait. And wait.

Nothing happens. It's like time has frozen and I am turning into ice with each passing second. So easily breakable.

Why does it have to be me?

Someone must have noticed me gone. Someone at the school. They know how punctual I am. I rarely take any holidays even when I'm sick. I have nothing else to do. I practically have no family or friends. My Mom died 3 years ago and I only know my dad through his pictures. I was too young when he died, maybe around 4. Now I'm 24.

"Oh! I'm so sorry" A male voice suddenly echos in the room. There must be speakers present somewhere in the room.

"Who is it?" I ask with a glimmer of hope.

"Oh hi Danica" the man replies casually. His voice is deep and gravelly. "I had to take care of something important but I tried to be back asap. I shouldn't have chained you Gosh"

"How.. how do you know my name?" My breathing picks up. If he knows my name, then..

"I kidnapped you. Ofcourse I would know that" he sounds so smug and that glimmer of hope, yeah that died down.

"WHY? LET ME GO!" I shout with a hoarse voice, thrashing my hands so they can be free. "ARE YOU CRAZY?"

"Shhh relax. I'm sorry I had an urgent work, otherwise I wouldn't have left you alone for this long"

Is this guy stupid?

Ok I need to deal with this situation calmly. I got this. Please God help me. Please. Please.

"See I'm very sorry if I did something to offend you-"

"No need to say sorry Dani. You didn't do anything wrong. You can't do anything wrong. Why would you even think that" he says giving a small laugh meanwhile I am having hard time holding back my tears. How can he be so relaxed? "You are the sweetest person I have ever met"

"I know you?"

I'm so confused right now.

"Not exactly. We have only met twice before and the second time was when I abducted you"

He's definitely a psychopath.

"So we are basically strangers?" I ask

"Yup"

"Then why are you doing this? Who are you? Why me?" I ask all the questions that come in my mind and my throat hurts so much.

"I will reply to all your questions but right now I will only tell you my name. I'm Vesper Blue, a Billionare, business man and part time serial killer." He says and a shiver runs down my spine. I have heard his name.

An unknown gas fills the room and the last thought that comes in my mind before I faint again is I'm going to die in the worst way possible.
